LONDON,S.W.9.

Dear Rothes,

Thank you for your letter of the 21st September.

We have run the 7 x 18" tyres and they are very promising for noise, though slightly harder than the Dunlops at the same tyre pressures. We are running at the lower tyre pressures and shall be letting you know something further in the course of a few days.

I hardly think it is worth while your coming down at the present moment, but I shall be in London on the 22nd and 23rd for the Motor Show, and we might discuss the progress made then.

Yours sincerely,
