Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,

17th January, 1935.

all six-cylinder M.G's, several Morris types, all six-cylinder Rileys, most Rovers, several Singer models, all Standards above 15 H.P., all Sunbeams, all Talbot, 20 H.P. Vauxhall, and all Wolseley above 12 H.P. fit batteries of either 63 ampere hours or 76, which makes one think!

Many of these are cars where the price is cut down to shillings, the total weight and power are a little more than half the 25 H.P. Rolls-Royce and the price about one-fifth. Of course we know that we do not want to compare Rolls-Royce cars with other makes, but if you give the 25 H.P. car the 40/50 battery, it would still be low in capacity compared with the average makes of cars on the English market ! However, we can talk over these matters on Monday when the writer will bring with him some further figures taken as to capacities off random batteries out of our stock which may be more interesting than laboratory tests.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.

P.S. In case you want to refer this letter to other departments, we enclose an extra copy to save you trouble.
