We understand from HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} through DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} that America do not like the black dials of our instruments in conjunction with black mount and black frame, and that they would like silver dials to all the instruments in the frame patch and to the scale of the petrol gauge.
We believe that you have had such dials on some of your special cars in London. We would be glad if you would arrange to obtain a sample dial and send it to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, shewing him what can be done, and no doubt if you tell Derby the source of supply they will wish to make enquiries as to cost.
