X8410 To CWB. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG27.9.27. X235 With reference to CWB10/GM23.9.27. We should be interested to know the conditions under which Sir John Latta for the most part uses his cars i.e. is he for the most part a speed merchant or a shopping enthusiast? From the remarks, we should judge that his chief complaint is one of pitching. At the present moment we are altering a car for Capt. Cruze , making the springing like that of 10-EX. This necessitates Hartfords and hydraulics at the front and rear and stiffer stronger rear springs. We suggest that when we have completed Capt. Cruze's car, which is a cabriolet it might be advisable to let Sir John Latta try it as conceivably it may eliminate the trouble of which he is so constantly complaining. In this case of course the changeover is expensive, but apparently money is no object to Sir John. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
