SCINTILLA AM-6-A MAGNETO - LEFT HAND ROTATION - SUITABLE FOR EAC.11.

X4187 X9790

Further to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 5/T17.7.24, in which we stated we were sending to you a magneto of the above type, No.28533, would you kindly note that the bench performance of this machine is substantially the same as that of a similar type magneto No.34937, reported in our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T9.5.24.

We have already sent you under cover of our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T30.5.24, copy of our specification of performance of magneto for EAC.2 chassis. It has not undergone any material alteration since that time, but in order to complete it we have certain tests to make on annular spark gaps with shunted leaks.

The performance of these Scintilla magnetos does not come up to that which we have laid down in the specification.
