To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X111S Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}13/KW.6.8.35. Oil Coolers. Pressure Tests on SpectreCodename for Phantom III & Buick. One of each of these oil coolers was subjected to an internal oil pressure of 100 lbs/sq.in. The Buick was perfectly sound, whilst the SpectreCodename for Phantom III leaked very slightly at three points on the outer ring of tubes. It is understood that the SpectreCodename for Phantom III cooler - which was the only one available - was an old type, but that the matrix was of similar construction to the latest type.
