Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Dal/M11.5.30. FRONT SHOCK DAMPERS. CENTRALISED LUBRICATION. X.7772 X.3806 X.7520 Herewith we send N. schemes 3085 and 3097. The former shews the upper ball end lubricated from the axle, and is we imagine urgently wanted for the 2nd. L.H. Phantom II. We do not know what R.{Sir Henry Royce} may say to the pipe coil, but it appears to us to be the only way of meeting all his criticisms contained in R3/M5.5.30. The present scheme could be improved by raising the height of the receiver on the inner lever, but in view of his remarks we do not like to suggest it. The rear dampers we shall deal with immediately, but he may think they are not too bad as now. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
