Dear Sirs,

With reference to our letter ref. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /RmLO/LG22.10.28 asking for a small dial 20 HP. speedometer as instructed to our previous specification.

This speedometer, you will recollect was correct for m.p.h. readings but 3% out for distance recording owing, as you will remember, to drive ratio difficulties.

We understand that you have been in communication with our Production Dept. and that by calibrating the speedometer at 776 revs. this distance recording error can be reduced to 1%. We will therefore supply a drive of this ratio if you will make the speedometer accordingly.

Yours faithfully,
