Dear Sirs,

Re P & R.{Sir Henry Royce} RR.11 Battery.

Reference yours of the 18th inst. and postscript of the 24th inst., we trust you have now received the two cells which we have sent for your examination.

Concerning the sort of use the battery had before it went on the car, this consists of daily charging and overcharging, interspersed with two weekly periods of partial discharge (driving motors). It is considered that the electrical treatment would be approximately the same as that received on the car, the difference being that the slight vibration is absent.

In the circumstances we do think the battery may be considered to have given a reasonable performance.
