CR.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} x.3175 To Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LC16.12.19. X.3175. RE "JACKS". X.391 With reference to your memo Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/WS/H10.12.19. referring to Jacks, we consider that both the Jacks submitted to us by Messrs. Lake & Elliott are very much inferior to the Michelin Jacks. If the Michelin Jacks can be obtained, we would recommend them in preference to any others. If it is a case of obtaining some sort of Jack to carry on with until we can obtain the Michelin, of the two Jacks submitted to us by Messrs. Lake & Elliott, the No. 5 is the most suitable. We should be pleased to hear from you what promise you can obtain from Michelin's as regards delivery of Jacks. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
