1044 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}6/MR.19.9.38. B.60 ENGINE. With reference to the induction system for the above engine. The first unit which is now on the test bed will be fitted with a special brass induction pipe, which is built up in sections. This pipe is for the purpose of developing a suitable induction system for this new type of engine. In order that we shall have something suitable for the preliminary road work, will you please produce adaptor flanges so that a standard Wraith induction system may be fitted to future B.60 engines which you are building.
