The Air Ministry did not like the fact that the Pilot's lever moved by itself if the Aeroplane changed altitude at full throttle. We have schemed a floating link arrangement, and we are testing this using the parts already in existence of the boost control that was made last summer. This is shown on DES.1293. We are making a proper working scheme which we think will be neat, and which we hope to send to you shortly.
