RE EXPL. BODIES AT MESSRS HOOPER & CO.

Judging from what pieces we were able to locate at the Chelsea Works it would appear that so far Messrs Hooper and Co have only received the two subframes.

For the subframe for E.A.C.VII. they will require:-
Scuttle [Strikethrough]
Scuttle Stiffeners see N.Sch.2236.
Metal Heel Board and Fittings.

For the India Subframe they will require:-
Scuttle Stiffener N.Sch. 2265 herewith. [Strikethrough] to follow immediately. [Handwritten]
Rear Heel Board and fittings.

Supplied 1/10/26 [Handwritten]

In this connection we would mention that we see that the subframe has the old type of forward supports. We had intended that these should be the same as those given on N.Sch. 2241 and used on the forward end of the E.A.C.VII. frame . We suggest that Derby should send some one to Hooper's Works to fit the correct pad to the subframe.

All the full size drawings are made and approved so that as soon as these matters are cleared up the work can progress.
