Dear Sir,

I am in course of writing a paper on Servo Braking Systems to be read shortly before the local branch of the I.A.E. and would be very grateful if you would let me have some information regarding the mechanism which you employ at present. Am I correct in believing that you tried out an oil pump servo and discarded it in favour of a friction device? In what way was the other unsatisfactory?
Thanking you in anticipation.
yours faithfully
Charles K.B. Speid
