Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 15th. inst. We are today forwarding to you one of our tanks. We should be obliged if you could fit your gauge to this tank and return it to us. Realising your difficulty, since visiting the Paris Salon, we agree that you modify the existing baffles in the tank to suit the gauge. We suggest that you confine the modification to the minimum and let us have a sketch of what you have done. All we require is a gauge arranged so that we can test its durability and accuracy.
