R.R. 25M-1/19 E 518. 16.4.19(c) 2551 To E from EH. EH4/LG19.9.19. X.2048 RE BENZOL FOR WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. We find that the Staveley Company cannot send you a 50 gallon drum but they can send you 6 cases of 2-gallon tins which will contain 48 gallons of benzol. The price of benzol in the 100 gallon drums is 2/3 per gallon. The price of the benzol in the 2-gallon tins will be 2/4 per gallon, delivered to Chichester. We think that the difference in price hardly warrants going to the trouble of emptying the drums and filling tins. We have instructed the Staveley people to send on 48 gallons of benzol in tins; if Mr. Royce desires, in future, of course, he can have 100 gallon drums. EH. | ||
