Latest Cadillac Product selling for £300 in U.S.A. This is an interesting Car as it is Cadillacs attempt to produce a vehicle that will sell in quantities. Its best features are its riding and road holding qualities. It has the Cadillac type of independent front wheel suspension. Other features are :- (1) Straight eight side valve engine, 240 cu.ins. (3940 c.c.) having 6.5 C/R developing 95 HP. at 3700 R.P.M., and running up to a maximum of 4500 R.P.M. (2) Silent chain front end drive. (3) T. Slot Pistons electrolytically treated. (4) Valve springs with anti-surge dampers. (5) Eight cylinder induction pipe giving exceptionally good distribution and having a thermostatically controlled hot spot Duplex carburetter arrangement. (6) Hydraulic brakes with light pressed steel shoes and centrifuged drums. (7) Air cooled belt driven dynamo. (8) Water pump mounted on fan centre line and belt driven.
