Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C.E. Dept. X7230 BY2/J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 2.1.30. PHANTOM CHASSIS SILENCERS X7230 In view of the excessive cost of Staybrite Steel for the silencer laggings and clips, it would appear desirable to try a set of these parts made from hard drawn brass sheet. This would be much stronger than the aluminium sheet we used prior to standardising staybrite. We would like, if possible, to have a set of laggings and straps produced in half hard brass sheet fitted to the Phantom Chassis which is going to France shortly. BY.{R.W.
