BWC For the attention of Mr.Bowering. Dear Sirs, Modified Bentley Jack. Since Mr.Whitfield's call on you on Monday, we decided to have one of the sample Jacks submitted to a test of 100 lifts under a load of 15 cwt. We found that after 15 lifts that the silver steel stop in the small screw cut away, similar to the sample that you yourselves tested some time ago and to which you refer in your letter 21.6.35. We have, therefore, re-designed the stop and the tests are at present proceeding satisfactorily. As soon as they are complete, three sample Jacks will be sent. Yours faithfully, FOR DUNLOP RUBBER CO.,LTD., Frank R Carr Sales Manager - Accessories. | ||
