Mr. W.O.Kennington of Delco-Remy &
Hyatt is interested in the purchase of this car. He said he
would like to have a word with you about it when next he is
in Derby, which may be within seven days. I told him, of
course, that the car was out of your hands now and is in the
Repair Dept. being got ready for disposal. He appreciates
that point, but says he knows you and would rather talk it
over with you because you know the car well.

I have told Mr.Kennington that we
shall make the chassis standard, i.e. remove all the experimental
bits and put it into good running order and make the body
presentable as well, and am suggesting he should give us £750.
for it.

I hope you may be able to keep him up
to this idea, and if he does see you perhaps you would let me
know what you arrange. He will probably want to have a look
at the car, so perhaps Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} will keep it as presentable as possible,
ad I always think first impressions are rather important.
