Messrs. Park Ward & Co., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. Dear Sirs, re Bentley Saloon/1-B-3. We want a new set of front wings for the Bentley Saloon 1-B-3. This is the first experimental car and is painted black. A pair of front wings belonging to the first batch of 50 stock saloons would suit us very well for this job, provided they would match up with the existing running boards. We are not sure whether the running board of this first car is exactly the same as that for the standardised body. If it is not it might expediate the matter if you were to supply new running boards as well as wings. Will you please let the writer know what you propose would be the best thing to do. He will be in London on Monday and will endeavour to call on you. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE Limited | ||
