To EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer}

EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T8.8.21.

X.4215 - BLERIOT PHI CUTOUTS.

Further to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T10.3.21 and EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 10/T19.4.21, and your answer EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 16/F22.4.21, we would like to hear from you again with regard to the Bleriot Phi cutout running on various cars on test. You may remember that you previously reported that the operation of this instrument had varied somewhat since you first fitted this. We should like to know if this variation has continued, or if the instrument has settled down to a steady condition, and further, if this steady condition is satisfactory. If this is not the case perhaps it would be better if you let us have this instrument back as we now have another one which has been passed by us on the bench for fitting to a car, which would be available to you immediately in exchange.
