To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wom. I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.15.1.31. I quite agree to your writing to Oy. for the information in question, and I also realise that it would hardly be fair to ask him for information if we were not prepared to reciprocate and let him have from time to time general information on the trend of designs on this side. So far as the Quickstep Steel matter is concerned the position, as I gather you already know, is that information has already been given to the General Motors London Patent Representative, Mr.Constantine. As regards mechanics' joints, I have spoken to BY about this on the telephone and, considering your [XXXXX] combined views on the subject, I quite agree that the best thing is to be straightforward and let them have the drawings. I take it that in any case the worst that can happen is that we might have to pay them a royalty on joints of this type which we send on chassis to America? Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
