Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.,

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} A.{Mr Adams} LESLIE

We beg to confirm telephone conversation with Mr. Leslie this afternoon regarding the new type Frame to Drawing No. F.B.3558, and his instructions to assemble the Long Type Frame exactly as the Short Type just supplied, with the additional 6" in the centre of the Cruciform Members, and also the Sidemembers.

We are to work to the drawings left for the Short Frame with regard to lightening holes; the Frame is to be riveted and is also to have the original Gusset Members fitted, i.e. not with extended flanges as on the Frame recently supplied.

Perhaps you will be good enough to let us know if this is a correct interpretation of your wishes.

Yours faithfully,

JOHN THOMPSON MOTOR PRESSINGS LTD.

G.R. Hunt.
DIRECTOR
