PER.3 OIL CONSUMPTION.

We have been carrying out some careful oil consumption tests on Per.3 which has only been doing about 400 m.p.g.
Will you please fit to the pistons scraper rings to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}945 and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}949 (i.e. the scraper ring to be chamfered and the gas ring above to be chamfered) when the car goes into the shop for the servo alteration. This will necessitate producing another set of each of these parts as we have instructed the first set to be fitted to Per.2 in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}14/KT.22.3.33.
