Contd. -2- EFC9/T1.6.21. turns per pole, in the field winding would be required and that these could be readily obtained with 19 S.W.G. wire. We cannot very well do much more on this machine until we receive more complete dimensions of the machine as schemed out by Mr. Royce. He stated, however, that the machine should have an even number of teeth and ^[handwritten insertion: under the] minimum air gap, with the fringe corresponding to one extra pitch of tooth and slot.
