broke its bolts, but we had realized that it was not right and the easiest way to do is to try if it would be satisfactory if the plate were attached to the tube just above it, the trouble is that the tyre is. flexible, and does not carry the wheels where it rests on the shoes. and the slashback is unfortunately of a wrong order. and the wheel slides up the face of the plate, we would like it to slide down. So as to increase the weight carried by the shoes. One hears the brake levers letting their stops go while travelling over rough roads suggesting rubber stops to the levers. The tyres make a noise at a slow speed which should be proved is not gear. The change speed lever went wrong; it is experimental knot & instruction, has been explained but I don't know if it is OK. No doubt you will find other noises but the chassis & body are both quite good for noise, I think it a splendid car, but we shall hope for still better riding & qualities & acceleration. I hope all the work is going well kindly let Mr Elliot, Mr Stubbs, Mr Ware and Mr Walnut know. Yours Sincerely. F H RoyceSir Henry Royce | ||
