Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

We are very much obliged to you for your letter of November 21st and shall be very pleased indeed to make you up a steering gear for trial purposes to conform to the blue prints which you enclose with your letter.

If you can send us your support bracket, Pt. No. FP{F. Potts} 90, complete with gland, we shall be able to incorporate this in the sample gear. If you can also send us a drop arm, FP{F. Potts} 92, either machined or as a stamping, we should also use one of your existing parts for this article.

On the other hand, if these parts are not available we can quite easily arrange to supply them ourselves.

We have all the information we require to make up the sample gear with the exception of the dimensions of the centre of your steering wheel, and we shall be glad if you will let us have this so that we can make the top end of the column to suit your wheel both as regards length of column and methods of attachment.

[STAMP: RECEIVED 23 NOV 1932]
