with others of our and other makes. You will find good timing by plungers or a certain free movement and ample clearances.

The bigger pinions suggested by me may be better and any increase in the dia. of the shaft also. both would be favourable to silence and so easier for production. Angle of teeth to 14° if practicable would cause less thrust between the shaft and less tendency to move on the splines as would the larger pinions.
