Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce Gentlemen:- Referring to your order No. 74820 for Pierce-Arrow connecting rod, gudgeon pin and piston, these have now been obtained and are being sent to you on our shipper P-21409. Mr. Nadin wrote us at the request of Messrs. Hives and Rowbotham and we would advise that the diameter of the piston is 3½" in place of 4" as you state. The weight of the assembly we find to be 5 ozs in place of 2# 1 oz as you state. These are as described in the "Automotive Industries" of the November 5, 1927 issue and they are for the Pierce Arrow series of 31. The connecting rod will be billed to you at $10.00, gudgeon pin at 80¢ and the piston at $4.00 with a 5% handling charge.
