| To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} x300 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}21/KW.10.6.36. Will you please do the following tests :- (1) See if the Ph.III breather which has been drawn out for production will cope with full bore carburetter flooding. (Dodd has done some experiments, don't overlap). (2) Specify what changes, if any, are required in the Ph.III throttle spring. (3) There is a scheme on production for supplying oil to the gudgeon pin which we have not tested experimentally. We ought to try this out without delay on one of our engines.
