Dear Mr. Hives,

In reply to your note Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy2/LG2.5.29. the attached copy of a reply from Mr. Thomas of the Bijur Co. will interest you.

The tendency is rather to take the whole job out of the driver's hands by making lubrication automatic where required and dispensing with the need of lubrication where possible. For instance packed anti friction bearings on Cadillac brake operating gear etc.

Very truly yours,
ROLLS ROYCE AMERICA INC.
