Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
Conduit St. {Capt. P. R. Strong} ,
London, W. 1.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Lappin.

Since our conversation on Wednesday last, the writer has ascertained that we are in a position to supply a limited quantity of trimethylene-glycol. If, therefore, your Experimental Department at Derby is still desirous of carrying out tests, we will be pleased to forward supplies on receipt of your instructions.

As an anti-freeze, trimethylene-Glycol has a slight advantage over Glycerine in that it has a lower viscosity. In view of the fact, however, that the supply of the former cannot always be guaranteed, we do not recommend its adoption on a large scale.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd.) Christr. Thomas & Bros. Ltd.
