'SS{S. Smith}' AXLE CONTROL DAMPER TO N.SCH.2635. X7520

From our tests so far there does not seem to
be any difficulty in making this damper work. We find that
we can only have one air vent, that over the high pressure
valve. This is because we only replenish on the upward stroke
of the piston, therefore xx if we have an air vent on the
downward stroke we get lost motion.
