Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X5010. BY.20/G.22.9.31. [STAMP] RECEIVED 23 SEP 1931 20/25 HP. CRANKSHAFT. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has informed me in our telephone conversation this afternoon that for the cranks which are already made R.{Sir Henry Royce} has definitely agreed we use the 6 unit, 8 weight, scheme, following R's original idea. In regard to the sinking of the dies for the 20/25 further crankshafts, this must be held for the moment as R's decision does not at present include this, and the same applies to Japan lll. BY.{R.W.
