The following are three Cablegrams received from HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} in America :-

"STROMBERGS SAY CORRECT LEVEL NINE SIXTEENTHS BELOW MAIN JET WILL FLOOD ONE IN SEVEN AND SUGGEST MACHINING MANIFOLD REQUIRED ANGLE FORWARDS AS SIDE FLOAT POSITION GIVES CORNERING TROUBLE".

"FOR NINE SIXTEENTHS RETAIL NINE THIRTYSECONDS".

"LONG THIRTY THOUSANDTHS CUSHIONING RAYBESTOS HYCO LINING WORKING COEFFICIENT ONE QUARTER. BOTH FABRICS MUST BE FLAT. LEAVE FOR NEW YORK TUESDAY VIA CLEVELAND ETC. TO SAIL SATURDAY."
