Amendment to the F.11 & F.XII engine timing instructions due to unsecured telescopic covers on the camshaft drives.

RR. F.11 & F.XII - ENGINE TIMING. 41770 We have experienced some trouble on the test beds due to the telescopic covers of the camshaft drives not being properly secured. As it is anticipated that this may possibly be overlooked in service, we have amended the Timing Instructions given in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/VH1/LG24.1.28 accordingly. A further amendment has been included, pointing out that the method instructed, is arranged to give the engine timing shewn in the timing diagrams previously issued. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/VH.
