It is proposed to give a series of informal talks in which Superintendents of departments and others are invited to give a talk on the various aspects of their experiences in their arts or crafts, the difficulties they have encountered and the method by which they propose to, or have, overcome them.

Such talks to be of an instructive nature, and to be accompanied, where feasible, with practical demonstrations of their work. When necessary they may be illustrated by films or lantern slides.

It is thought that through talks of this kind, by experts in their craft, a large amount of useful instruction could be given in a very much shorter time than would be possible in the shops during working hours.

These talks will take place either in the Workshop concerned or the Welfare Hall as convenient.

The first talk is scheduled to take place on Tuesday November 1st at 7.0 p.m. and it is proposed that they be held fortnightly thereafter.

All Apprentices and Pupils will be invited to be present at the talks, and any others who are interested will be welcome, when space permits.

Will all Officials and Superintendents. who are willing to give such talks, submit their names to HAW. as soon as possible.

For notices of these talks, please see the Rolls-Royce Apprentices' Association and Welfare notice boards.
