Dear Sirs,
Replying to your letter of the 27th April in which you request one dozen .093 seatings for Bentley float chamber, used with the high pressure pump, this particular size is just half way between two of our present standards, the smaller one being .086" dia. and the larger .100" dia. The seating we supply to you on the Bentley job is .125" dia.
We naturally do not wish to introduce another diameter of seating into our range unless it is vitally necessary and we suggest that you try the effect of our existing standards before deciding on the .093 size.
We are, therefore, sending to you under separate cover one dozen each of the .086 and the .100 seatings for trial - probably the latter size will be most satisfactory.
Yours faithfully,
for THE S.U.CARBURETTER CO.LTD.
B. Cooper
