DERBY Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 20th inst, reference Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Dn9/PH201223 and have communicated with our Engineering Department at New Malden, who inform us that the missing parts yet to be received from you are two nickel-plated rods 1/4" diameter with 1/4" fork end and lock nuts, one part approximately 15" long, 3/4" diameter, turned up at the ends, with small lever attached. They point out that these must have been originally received by you, as without them the "Dipping" Headlight Fittings would have been useless.
