Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Re Order No.68910 - Long 12.C.B. Clutches.

We have to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed letter of the 9th instant requesting information regarding the delivery of two Long 12.C.B. clutches covered by the above order.

We wish to explain that the two 12.C.B. cover assemblies ordered from U.S.A. are expected in these Works to-morrow (Wednesday). Upon receipt of these assemblies, as you are no doubt aware, we have to arrange to carry out certain alterations to levers. We assure you such work will be carried out with the least possible delay.

However, we understand from your Mr.Chandler that he is looking into the question of a special type of driven plate design, taking into consideration the limited space available in the Phantom III application. No doubt Mr. Chandler will be forwarding suggested drawings in the course of a mail, but final delivery of complete clutches, as you will appreciate, rests with your decision in this connection.

We would advise that your letter was addressed to our London Office, and would kindly ask you to ensure that all future correspondence, with the exception of communications dealing with accounts, be forwarded to our Leamington address.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.

A.M.Shinkins,
Sales Department.
