11th. July, 1939.

Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH.

For the attention of Mr. Shilton.

Dear Sirs,

We are wanting to make a display board for hanging in the Chief Engineer's office, and would be very much obliged if you would supply two pieces of each of the following linings, 2" square and flat for affixing to same, together with a very brief description of the composition of each lining.

F.B.A. M.R. B.Z. R.L. R.U. VG.90. VG.91

VM.20. VM.30. RAD.13.

Mr. Longley has a display board on the wall of his office and we want to copy this. The linings quoted are all those in which we have taken a serious interest, in recent years.

We hope we are not taking undue advantage of your kindness in making this request, and we remain,

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
