Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Your ref Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 6/MJ.

Thank you for your letter of the 18th instant although I am rather disappointed in what you say about the 14 m.m. plugs.

I shall be very interested to see the type L.K.1 which you are sending back and I gather that you are still continuing with the L.K.S.5. If your experience with this plug suggests any modifications I shall be only too pleased to do anything that I can to fall in with your requirements.

I hope to be able to come up to Derby again in the not far distant future as I am very anxious to keep in touch with the test of screens on the Aero plugs.

Yours sincerely,
C.B. Carington
