X1332 To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/KW.16.10.36. We want to get some wide rims in light section fitted to the Phantom III. The wide rims of the present gauge are too heavy. Attached is a letter from Dunlops, from which you will see they want £100 tool cost for producing these rims. Is this reasonable ? Is there no way of getting an experimental set of rims produced without this tool cost ? Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
