LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} (for Sp.{Mr Spinney}) From Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} V3840 S Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M24.2.22. GOSHAWK 11. FOR LE CANADELHenry Royce's French residence. X.4219. X.3730 X.8819 We understand that a Goshawk (presumably the Hooper Phaeton built for R.{Sir Henry Royce}) will be going to France in a week or so. In view of Mr. Royce's recent instructions, it will be necessary for me to see this car at an early date to examine seating positions, and coachwork in general. We have completely instructed some months ago a set of mudguards, valences, running boards, wingstays, and lamp brackets, all of which were to be fitted to this car. We are anxious that this should be done, as the two Goshawks we have seen at WW. have not been well equipped with these parts. We would be glad if BY, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, & Sp.{Mr Spinney} would report the state of progress these parts are in. Will you kindly inform me when and where it will be possible to inspect this car. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
