To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X2934 F.10-12. X3804 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG15.3.27. We have regained some of our lost H.P. on the above engine. At the moment we have no satisfactory explanation for the increase obtained with this engine. It will be observed that the horizontal and vertical air intakes cause a 2 1/2% drop in H.P.
