The unsuitability of 'Forward' sparking plugs due to construction and measurement issues.

With reference to attached, we have obtained one dozen "Forward" sparking plugs similar to those Mr. Rapson used on his 10,000 miles test. We do not consider these plugs are very suitable for a R-R Car because it is practically impossible to measure the length of the spark gap. We also do not like the construction because the nickel end is brazed on to the central stem.
