Voller - Orders} Date 17th March 1936 Noted HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/STO Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Rd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C.S.Steadman. Confirming the visit of the writer yesterday, we are putting in hand 6 Carburetters our TT35 type, 1/3.16" bore. (1.3/16") This is the largest bore we have available at the moment, although we are preparing Carburetters with larger bores for this seasons racing, it will be some time before they are available. We think however, considering the fact that the Carburetter we are sending, as pointed out by the writer yesterday, is more efficient bore for the bore, than the instrument you have tried, plus the 1/32nd increase, should be enough to give you an indication on test. At the moment of writing, we are not able to definitely say when they will leave the Works, but you can rest assured that we will get them away as soon as ever we possibly can. We are enclosing the lists, as promised. Yours faithfully, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF AMAL LIMITED | ||
