Mr.Robotham,
Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY
Dear Sir,
Many thanks for the various courtesies extended me by yourselves and your London representatives.
I enjoyed the use of the 3 1/2 litre Bentley and found the action and feel most encouraging. With the exception of the torque reaction which could be better, the job is comparable with most eights for softness and smoothness.
I would like to know the bore, stroke and crank pin main bearing proportions of this job.
I am enclosing some data which you are going to photograph and return.
In the meantime many thanks.
Please give my best regards to Mr.Elliott and Mr.Hives.
Yours sincerely,
ALEX TAUB.
