Contd. -15- EFC2/T6.10.19. the other of which goes throughthe coils of the actuator box and returns to the main positive terminal of the Lucas junction box, and from there back to the battery. (i)(k)(l)(m) Connections of Lucas Junction Box, Steering Column Switch, Ignition coil, Ballast Resistance, Contact breaker and Condenser. The insulated battery ignition portion of the compound steering column switch is connected between the negative bus bar of the Lucas junction box and the insulated terminal at the lower end of this box. A wire passes away from this latter terminal to the lower termianl of the ballast resistance under the coil, after which the ignition circuit is continued by connecting the top terminal of the ignition coil to the insulated terminal of the contact breaker, and so to earth the circuit being finally completed by the earthed connection on the positive bus bar. There is no need to describe the high tension circuits of either the magneto or the battery ignition, as these are quite evident from the wiring. diagram. | ||
